Currently serving as the Director General (DG) of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), the military intelligence unit of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The Guimara Army Region and 24th Artillery Brigade has existed since 1982. [1]the 24th Artillery Brigade and Guimara Region which was established in 5 June 1982, It was initially under Chittagong Cantonment and then it was shifted to be under Dighinala Region but in 1994, the brigade was finally shifted to be under present Guimara Region.
Hasan was appointed commandant of National Defence College on 26 November 2020 as soon as he promoted to 3 star general. [7] On 13 January 2021, he was appointed chief of general staff of the Bangladesh Army. [8] In several occasion he served as acting chief of the Bangladesh Army in absence of incumbent chief. He went on retirement December, 2023.
