Dropkick Murphys are an American Celtic punk band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1996. [5] The current lineup consists of co-lead vocalist and bassist Ken Casey, drummer Matt Kelly, co-lead vocalist Al Barr (on hiatus from the band since 2022), rhythm and lead guitarist James Lynch, lead guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Tim Brennan and multi-instrumentalist and rhythm guitarist Jeff DaRosa.

Matt Kelly is an American musician from Leominster, Massachusetts. He has been the drummer for the Boston Celtic punk group Dropkick Murphys since May 1997. [1] [2] [3] Kelly also sings background vocals for the band and has not missed playing a show with the band for 22 years as of 2019.
