Waskesiu Lake, also referred to as Waskesiu, is a hamlet in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, Canada. [2] The hamlet is the only community within the park, located on the southern shore of Waskesiu Lake , is about 90 km (56 mi) north of Prince Albert .
From Waskesiu Lake, Waskesiu River heads north-east out of the park and into the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District where it crosses Highway 2 en route to Montreal Lake in the Montreal Lake 106 Indian reserve. In Prince Albert National Park, near the source of the river, is the Waskesiu River Trail.
San Onofre State Beach (San Onofre, Spanish for "St. Onuphrius") is a 3,000-acre (1,214 ha) state park in San Diego County, California. [1] The beach is 3 miles (5 km) south of San Clemente on Interstate 5 at Basilone Road. The state park is leased to the state of California by the United States Marine Corps.
The north section is deep, with depths of up to 40 metres (130 ft), while the south section is shallow at only 7 metres (23 ft) deep. The lake is situated at the western end of the Waskesiu Upland, and, as such, the upland's western slopes are within the lake's catchment. Prince Albert National Park encompasses much of the Waskesiu Upland. [4]
