98 Degrees (stylized as 98°) is a vocal group consisting of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre.Their first Christmas album, "98 Degrees This Christmas," has sold over two million copies and is widely recognized as one of the most successful holiday albums ever.

He rose to fame as the lead singer of the multi-platinum-selling boyband 98 Degrees and later starred in the reality series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica with his then-wife, Jessica Simpson.
Timmons and the other members of 98 Degrees decided to take a break in 2002 after their world tour. Timmons launched his solo career by touring with Jim Brickman.After positive reviews, he wrote and arranged his first solo album, Whisper That Way, which was released in August 2004 and included the singles Whisper That Way, Better Days and Favorite Star.
Timmons, 51, agrees, adding, "The plan originally for 98 Degrees was to sell us to the public as a true R&B group." "We were heavily influenced by the group Boyz II Men ," he adds.

Lachey was a member of the pop group 98 Degrees, alongside his brother, Nick Lachey, and other band members, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons.Since 98 Degrees, Lachey made a guest appearance on Hollywood Squares in 2001, performed on Broadway as Mark Cohen in the musical Rent from January 3 to March 21, 2005, and has also had several guest appearances on Nick's MTV show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
