Air Force Station Hindon (Hindon AFS) (also Hindon) is an Indian Air Force base under the Western Air Command (WAC). It is the biggest and largest air base in Asia. Its area measured 14 km rounded and 10.25 square kilometres (3.96 sq mi).

WAC's Area of Responsibility extends from Jammu and Kashmir to Rajasthan , also covering the states of Himachal Pradesh , Punjab , Haryana , New Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh .
The Squadron participates in operations involving air, land and airdrop of troops, equipment, supplies, and support or augment special operations forces, when appropriate. It is responsible for heavy lift operations of the IAF and is based out of the Hindan Air Force Station. The squadron operates 11 Boeing C-17 Globemaster IIIs.
