The 2024–25 UT Arlington Mavericks men's basketball team represents the University of Texas at Arlington in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.They are led by second-year head coach K. T. Turner and play their games at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
UTA in action against North Texas at College Park Center. Until February 2012, the Mavericks played at Texas Hall, which is a 3,300-seat theater on the campus. The teams played on the stage, and fans could watch the game from either the theater seats or the bleacher section.
In 2021/22, the basketball team finished second in the regular season. UTA advanced to the Sun Belt Tournament final where the Mavericks earned a 76–62 win over number one seed Troy. This marked the third overall appearance in the NCAA tournament. UTA has played in three NCAA and four NIT tournaments (as of the end of the 2022/23 season).
