Ragnheiður Ragnarsdóttir, also known as Ragga Ragnars [1] (born 24 October 1984) is an Icelandic actress and former swimmer, who specialised in sprint freestyle events. [2] She is a multiple-time Icelandic record holder in both long and short course freestyle (both 50 metres and 100 metres).
Played by Ragga Ragnars (seasons 5–6) Jarl Olavsonn's wife. Harald becomes enamored with her, but after Olavsonn's death, she marries Bjorn instead. As his wife, she becomes queen of Kattegat. She is based on the quasi-historical Gunnhild.
On 5 February 2020, Kieran O'Reilly released "Broken Wings" with his on-screen Vikings co-star and former double Olympian, Ragga Ragnars. The pair co-wrote the track before recording the song in JAM Studios in Ireland with Martin Quinn recording, mixing and mastering. The track was produced by Kieran O'Reilly and Martin Quinn.
