Aerolitoral, S.A. de C.V., DBA Aeroméxico Connect, and formerly known as Aerolitoral, is the subsidiary airline of Aeroméxico operating Embraer 190 aircraft, with crew bases in Mexico City and Monterrey. During the 1990s and 2000s, Aerolitoral, now known as Aeroméxico Connect, operated a hub out of Hermosillo for many years. This hub connected cities across Mexico and also offered flights to U.S. cities such as Los Angeles and Phoenix. However, it was eventually downsized to a focus city and ultimately closed in 2017.
On 5 January 2023, Aeroméxico Connect Flight 165 operated with an Embraer 190, registration code XA-ALW, aborted takeoff from Culiacán International Airport after being hit by a bullet. The projectile impacted the lower part of the empennage, below the horizontal stabilizer, causing a hydraulic systems failure in the aircraft.
