[1] Dibru College was established in 1963 situated at Boiragimoth, the heart of Dibrugarh city. Today the college provides major courses altogether in twelve out of twenty one subjects. The Government of India has identified the college as a Biotechnology hub too. The college has received a grant from the Department of Science and Technology.
The college offers 2 year higher secondary course under AHSEC and 3 year B.Com degree with specialization in Accounting and Finance, Marketing, International Business, Banking and Insurance, E-Commerce and H.R. Management or in general under Dibrugarh University. It also offers courses under Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University.

The Institute of Tai Studies and Research (ITSAR) is a Tai-Ahom language teaching institute in Moran, Charaideo, Assam, India.It is an affiliate autonomous institute under Dibrugarh University and offers a one-year Tai-Ahom language diploma course and a three-month certificate course in spoken Tai-Ahom language affiliated to Dibrugarh University.
