Given that sources on the Bosporus from after 341 nearly non-existent, Rhescuporis VI is often referred to as the last king of the Bosporan Kingdom. [1] [5] Traditionally the Bosporan Kingdom is believed to have been destroyed by the Goths and the Huns at the end of his reign [6] but there is no evidence for this. [1]
From Sinope Pharnaces sailed to the Cimmerian Bosporus (without his horses), intending to recover his kingdom from Asander. He captured Theodosia and Panticapaeum. In response, Asander attacked him. Pharnaces was defeated and killed in the battle because he was short of horses and his men were not used to fighting on foot. [1]

Then the Huns captured the kingdom, after that Utigurs and later Goths. The kingdom came to Roman Empire under Justinian II.
