Twin Lake is an unincorporated community in Muskegon County of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes. Local government services are provided by Dalton Township , though the Twin Lake ZIP code serves parts of neighboring townships.

State highway M-120 crosses the east side of the township, passing through the community of Twin Lake. According to the U.S. Census Bureau , the township has a total area of 36.3 square miles (94 km 2 ), of which 35.3 square miles (91 km 2 ) are land and 1.0 square mile (2.6 km 2 ), or 2.71%, are water.
