Somerton and Frome was a constituency [n 1] in Somerset represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. [ n 2 ] It was formerly represented by David Warburton , who was elected as a Conservative , but latterly sat as an Independent after losing the Conservative whip in April 2022 following allegations of misconduct.

He was elected to the House of Commons at the 1997 General Election when he ousted Robinson at Somerton and Frome by just 130 votes and remained the MP until standing down in 2015.
