Their lower priced bikes are just as incredible as their expensive bikes. And their frames are great, and every part is concurrent with modern standards. Everything's replaceable and upgradable with whatever you want, which can't be said for many other bikes. People on r/hardtailgang love the Commencal Meta.

I would actually say that the new roscoe looks fantastic value for money, whereas the commencal is a bit less unless you go for a top build spec. Also, I would say that the Meta is more all mountain/enduro, but the trek is more trail oriented and a 29er. They're both fantastic bikes, so knock yourself out with either one you buy! 1.

Looking into a Commencal Meta SX but I haven’t heard or seen much of them. Their looks are what draws me to them as many DTC brands offer similar builds for similar prices but good color ways are hard to come by. None of their Meta SX’s go above $6,000 which is the upper limit of my budget.

  7. Who made the switch to Commencal and why? : r/commencal - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/commencal/comments/twxp7h/who_made_the_switch_to_commencal...

I went with Commencal because I know their bikes are built strong, they look beautiful, they have great customer service, and I know Max Commencal cares about the industry and doesn't treat it like a money grab opportunity, unlike a lot of the other bike companies out there. He puts money back into the industry by sponsoring a lot of pro riders.

  8. 2021 Commencal Meta AM or TR 29? : r/MTB - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/MTB/comments/lmtc5b/2021_commencal_meta_am_or_tr_29

Their choice of aluminum-only is ethics based per Commencal's website. As far as less extreme, that's why I bought one of their 2020 TR frames for a build this year instead of buying a full 2021 TR. Commencal's current trail bikes seem like anything but.

Hey guys, just wanted to know what you guys thought about Commencal/ the Meta SX. They seem like an awesome company and have some really nice deals with black friday going on. I was mainly looking at the Team (4410USD) and Essential (3510 USD) options. Both seem pretty rad, but the Essential is also 3lbs heavier and I cant seem to figure out ...

  10. Commencal prices vs other brands : r/commencal - Reddit

For example santa cruz, specialized, trek, and giant, for comparable specs are more expensive. Marin bikes for example is a tad cheaper than commencal, but for not so comparable options. I will say though, that the top spec bikes at commencal are much much better value than top spec bikes at any other brand, mostly because of the alloy frame.

  11. 2022 Commencal Meta TR vs 2022 Canyon Neuron AL 6 : r/MTB -...

I can Preorder he Commencal 2022 for delivery in May, with tax and shipping comes in around $2950. Today I discovered a 2021 used, apparently only ridden once or twice (wifes bike) for $2700, with PNW dropper, local so no shipping. Only perceivable difference is the 2021 has Deore instead of SRAM which Im learning is a plus as well.
