Tomahawk is a city in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,441 at the 2020 census. [ 4 ] The city is located to the northeast of the Town of Tomahawk and is not contiguous with it.
Constructed mainly of wood in 1933, it is the first indoor hockey arena built in the state of Wisconsin. [2] The roof framing is a wooden lamella design, using solid-sawn timbers interconnected in a unique honeycomb pattern. [3] The facility is affectionately referred to as "The Dome" because of its dome-like shape.
