KLTY began playing a mix of Adult Contemporary Christian music (CCM). KLTY lasted only from early August 1985 as "Light 95" [3] to late September 1986 when station owner Scott K. Ginsburg changed the call letters to KHYI and changed the format to Top 40 as the moniker "Y-95", marking it one of the two simply "alternative" Top 40 station in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Salem began running its own Christian talk and teaching format on the station as KWRD-FM, The Word 94.9. In early 2000, Salem acquired an FM station on 100.7 in the Dallas suburbs, airing Christian Contemporary music as KLTY-FM. [3] On December 22, 2000, Salem swapped the two stations' frequencies to give KLTY the stronger signal.
The indication "K." or "KV" refers to Köchel Verzeichnis (Köchel catalogue), i.e. the (more or less) chronological catalogue of Mozart's works by Ludwig von Köchel. This catalogue has been amended several times, leading to ambiguity over some KV numbers (see e.g. Symphony No. 24 and Symphony No. 25, numbered K. 173dA and 173dB in the 6th edition).
Köchel attempted to arrange the works in chronological order, but many compositions written before 1784 could only be estimated, although Leopold Mozart had compiled a partial list of his son's earlier works; Mozart's catalogue of his own compositions (begun in February 1784 with K. 449) allows relatively precise dating of many of his later works.
This is a list of music genres and styles. Music can be described in terms of many genres and styles. Classifications are often arbitrary, and may be disputed and closely related forms often overlap.
