Scott Lawrence (born September 27, 1963) is an American actor best known for his role as Cmdr. Sturgis Turner on the CBS series JAG. Lawrence played the role from 2001 until 2005, when the series ended. [1] He is also known for being a major audio double for James Earl Jones, voicing Darth Vader in several Star Wars video games since 1994.
Played by Scott Lawrence. A good friend and former Naval Academy classmate of Harm, and a great rival in the courts. He is introduced in Season 7 and at first struggles to adapt to the informal atmosphere of the JAG office. He served on submarines before becoming a lawyer. Son of a Baptist Navy Chaplain.
