After the replacement of the liturgical norms of the 1962 Roman Missal by the post-Vatican II Mass in the 1960s, St. Clement Parish was the first community in the world to be authorized to celebrate the Mass and other sacraments in Latin only, according to the older liturgical norms.

The Saint Patrick's Singers are a group of volunteer soloist singers who provide their professional services on alternating weeks with the Basilica Choir, the oldest one at the St. Patrick's, who sing predominantly English unison music at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. A Youth Choir and a Children's Choir sing at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. [1]
