Coldwater Canyon (Spanish: Cañada de las Aguas Frias) is a canyon running perpendicular to and over the central Santa Monica Mountains, in Los Angeles County, California, United States. A section of the canyon south of Mulholland Drive is also a neighborhood in the Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council of the City of Los Angeles .
Coldwater Canyon Avenue begins at a Y intersection with North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills in the Westside region of Los Angeles. It then heads north within the canyon of the same name, running perpendicular to and then over the central Santa Monica Mountains, then descends into the eastern portion of the San Fernando Valley, continuing through that valley to Roscoe Boulevard.
Beverly Glen Boulevard is one of six major routes that connect the Westside of Los Angeles to the San Fernando Valley (the other five are the San Diego (405) Freeway, Sepulveda Boulevard, Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Laurel Canyon Boulevard, and Coldwater Canyon Avenue.
