From the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl on Dec. 14 to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Jan. 20, 82 teams will play in at least one postseason game.
The game was initially set for Turner Stadium in Humble, Texas, [2] but was later moved to Shell Energy Stadium in Houston. The move also makes the 2024 championship game the first since 2004 to be played on a grass field. [3] North Central (IL) was the 2025 Stagg Bowl champions, defeated Mount Union 41–25.
