Bayway (formerly Bay Town Trolley) is the primary provider of mass transportation in Bay County, Florida. The system was previously known as the Bay Town Trolley, due to at one point where the majority of buses in the fleet were designed in the style of a tourist trolley .

Bayway Isles is a guarded, deed-restricted community. The community began in 1964 as a joint development of Bayway Development and Leeco Gas and Oil Corporation. In 1968 the State of Florida designated the surrounding waters of Boca Ciega Bay as an Aquatic Preserve, thus limiting future 'dredge and fill' operations in the Bay.

M-55 intersects M-37 in western Wexford County southwest of the Caberfae Peaks Ski & Golf Resort. The roadway turns northeasterly along the south shore of Lake Mitchell where it then curves southeasterly to run concurrently along M-115 along the south shore of Lake Cadillac and through the south side of Cadillac.
