I found some posts on this sub about North Face's warranty but they are all at least 4 years old and companies change their practices with repairs/warranties all the time. North face fixes damn near everything. And when they can't, they'll give you a gift card for the purchase price of a new equivalent item.
No cost. Used all the same colored stitching-- looks great again. Check out TNF link below-- they clearly state the warranty covers the lifetime of the item-- not your lifetime. Note: I believe the inside garment logo/label is what is used to verify your LLW coverage. Outlet purchases only carry a one year warranty.
the north face's warranty is pretty clear; they warranty their products under any manufacturer's defects in the material and workmanship to the original owner. i think the confusion sets in because a lot of people think if their 10+ year old backpack fails, it's an automatic replacement. there are plenty of videos on social media advising ...
I was impressed. I've filled out the warranty form on their website multiple times and never even gotten a response, so I'm surprised to see others have had positive experiences. I have a North Face backpacking tent from the '90s. The rain fly has two plastic see-through windows in it.
My backpack was completely beat up from 9 years of abuse, traveling the world, hiking, camping, etc. A different backpack I sent in only took a month to repair and send back. I'll be sticking with North Face backpacks as my all-around pack.
North Face Backpack Warranty - Amazing! Had a backpack with a little rip in it, had to pay for shipping it in, but no questions asked, and they are replacing it with anything up to its value. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend North Face, after hearing mixed reviews on this subreddit. IMO, just call them, far more useful than the ...
I recently returned a 10 year old Hyvent rain jacket that was delaminating at the hood area. The jacket was like new and hardly used. North Face sent me a $99.00 credit. I then purchased a comparable Antora Dryvent rain jacket.
Make sure that the backpack is still covered by warranty, as most products have 2 years warranty and you mentioned it’s been a few years. Try contacting Amazon first if it’s still covered by warranty. Most likely your request would get rejected. Get in touch with TNF customer service afterwards and send them a picture of your correspondence ...
Osprey warranty is rock solid. I’ve given up Northface backpacks. 3 years is the longest one has lasted for me. Chase Reeves has a YouTube backpack review channel that I like a lot. He goes through a lot of different types and styles of bags. Hello u/finding_trevor!
I didn't say they were responsible. I called them first and asked if they could repair it. On the warranty form you check a box stating that you authorize up to $50 worth of repairs. I fully expected to pay for the repair but didn't have to. No worries- I get it. I feel the same about people abusing free stuff.
