Yellowstone went to their Paramount cable/satellite channel and they contracted with Peacock for streaming. You can now watch the first 4 seasons on Paramount+ but Peacock will be the first to get streaming rights to season 5 episodes, likely several months after Paramount's cable channel has run and rerun them.

Re: Bought Paramount+ for Yellowstone and can't watch it. Technically, it is still Season 5, but Part 2. And as noted, it becomes available on Peacock several months later. It looks like the first part is already available. But then, that aired a whopping 2 years ago!

When Yellowstone was first released it was on Paramount but streaming rights were assigned to Peacock (this was before Paramount+ existed). So Peacock will get first rights to stream season 5, some time after Paramount has run (and maybe rerun) it on their cable channel.
Paramount (not Paramount+) is a channel on cable and satellite. They used to have a companion "TV everywhere" streaming app but to view its content you needed to log in with your cable or satellite "TV provider" credentials to authenticate that you were paying for it. Paramount has withdrawn this streaming app, at least on Roku - I don't know ...
This may be more of a streaming problem: I have shows saved under My Stuff. About 2 weeks ago I could no longer view any episodes listed under any of the shows (I have about 30) saved in My Stuff. There just appears a fading line like it is trying to connect to something but never does. I have tried uninstalling the app but hasn't helped.
