Wellington—Halton Hills is a provincial electoral district in western Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario . The riding, which was first contested in the 2007 provincial election , consists of the municipalities of Guelph/Eramosa , Puslinch , Erin , Centre Wellington and Halton Hills .
The electoral district was abolished in 1987 when it was merged into Guelph—Wellington riding, adding Erin to the existing boundaries. In 1996, Erin and Pilkington was removed from the riding. In 2003, a new riding of Guelph was created again, consisting solely of the City of Guelph.

The new county of Waterloo was withdrawn in January 1853, and the remainder was renamed the United Counties of Wellington and Grey. [13] In January 1854, the United Counties was dissolved, and Wellington and Grey were separate counties for all purposes. [14] Guelph was incorporated as a City in 1879 and withdrawn from the county.
