The Sag Harbor Custom House is a historic house located in Sag Harbor, Suffolk County, New York, originally built around 1770.The Sag Harbor Custom House is best known for being the home and office of Henry Packer Dering (1763–1822), one of Sag Harbor's first customs master and postmaster following the harbor's designation as a United States Federal Port of Entry in 1789.

Sag Harbor is about three-fifths in Southampton and two-fifths in East Hampton (the Town boundary being Division Street). Its landmarks include structures associated with whaling and its early days when it was designated as the first port of entry to the new United States. The U.S. Courthouse, Post Office and Customs House, also just known as the Federal Building, is a historic federal government building at Main and 2nd Streets in downtown Newport, Vermont. Completed in 1904, it served historically as a courthouse, as a customhouse, and as a post office, and is the city's tallest building.
