Buendia station is an underground Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station located on the MRT Line 3 (MRT-3) system in Makati. It is one of two underground stations that can be found on the line, the other being Ayala. The station lies near the EDSA–Kalayaan Flyover and Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia Avenue) in Makati.

Commuters who ride the line are charged ₱13 ($0.26) for the first two stations, ₱16 ($0.32) for 3–4 stations, ₱20 ($0.41) for 5–7 stations, ₱24 ($0.49) for 8–10 stations and ₱28 ($0.57) for 11 stations or the entire line. Children below 1.02 meters (3 ft 4 in) (the height of a fare gate) may ride for free.
The present Line 6 proposal is 23.5 km (14.6 mi) long, with 9 stations as part of the initial proposal. The main line is so-called Modified Line 6 , formerly called Line 6A . It is 23.5 kilometers (14.6 miles) long, starting at Niog station that is connected to the LRT Line 1 Cavite extension and ending at Governor's Drive station.
Gil Puyat Station at Taft Avenue that is served by LRT-1; Buendia Station at EDSA (Major portion of C-4 Road) that is served by MRT-3; and; Buendia railway station along Osmeña Highway that was served by PNR and will be served by NSCR. This station closed when Dela Rosa railway station, located one block southwards, replaced it from 2017 to 2024.
Originally Route 17: Monumento-EDSA Taft, and pre-pandemic Malanday-Baclaran via EDSA Ayala Avenue route. Gil Puyat Avenue acts as a semi-terminus, with most buses turning back south, instead of proceeding to Malanday, or making separate Malanday-LRT Buendia and LRT Buendia-Ayala Loop trips. Also serves as augmentation for LRT Line 1.
