The Sioux Falls Stampede are a Tier I junior ice hockey team based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Stampede are members of the Western Conference of the United States Hockey League (USHL). The team plays home games at the Denny Sanford Premier Center, the largest facility in capacity and size in the USHL. The team was established in 1999.
The arena also hosts the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League and up until October 30, 2024 it also hosted the Sioux Falls Storm of the Indoor Football League (currently dormant due to leasing dispute with The Premier Center). In 2016, the Premier Center hosted a regional [14] for the NCAA Women's DI Basketball Tournament.
The arena was the home of the Cincinnati Stingers of the World Hockey Association from 1975 to 1979.
