David Keith Lynch (born January 20, 1946) is an American filmmaker, visual artist, musician and actor. He has received critical acclaim for his films, which are often distinguished by their surrealist, dreamlike qualities.
In 2009, Lynch went on a three-man tour with heidi. and Sadie. [7] On May 27, 2009, they announced via their official site the release of their fourth full-length album, Shadows, which was released on July 8, 2009. [8] In July 2010, the band announced they would be joining a major label, although the exact label had not been specified.
In 2002 Lynch began producing two series of shorts released through his official website: the Flash-animated DumbLand [13] and Rabbits. [14] Having begun acting in his 1972 short The Amputee , [ 15 ] Lynch went on to appear on-camera in Twin Peaks , [ 16 ] Zelly and Me , and Dune . [ 17 ]
Lynch then formed the third incarnation of the group with new and unknown members taking the music into a rap metal and nu metal direction. In 1999, Smoke This was released to disappointed fans and critics. According to Lynch, fans referred to the Smoke This album as "Lynch Bizkit". A tour followed the album and the group disbanded again.

Lynch's use of Marshall, Soldano, Bogner, and Diezel amps, along with effects units to achieve his famous tone, is well documented in rock guitar circles. His rig changes with each successive tour. Lynch used the Randall Dragon (non-master volume) tube head for the majority of his sound while on tour in 2005.
