New Albany – It’s Where You Should Be! Over the past several years, we have made great improvements to our city. Our roadways are vastly improved, we have invested in new infrastructure to protect neighborhoods, strengthen our schools, grow our parks and Shoreline, and support our local businesses.
It’s a new year here in New Albany. This past year, many road and infrastructure projects moved forward, connections were completed along the Ohio River Greenway, new companies chose New Albany to be home, and much more. We are looking forward to an exciting 2021!
The New Albany City Plan Commission is an 11-member body representing the citizens of New Albany in matters of Comprehensive Planning, Subdivision Control, Zoning, Annexation, Site Planning and Development, and other community development matters.
Mayor Jeff Gahan is currently in his fourth consecutive term serving as the Mayor of New Albany. He was first elected in 2011. Before his mayoral candidacy, he dedicated two terms to the city council.
