Do or Die is the debut studio album by the Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys.It was released in 1998. A music video for the single "Barroom Hero" was released. It is the only album that featured original lead vocalist Mike McColgan, who went on to become a fireman before forming his own band, the Street Dogs.
The title of the album is taken from lyrics in "Rose Tattoo". The band asked fans to tattoo themselves with the new logo from the album's cover and send photos and videos to their web site by September 19, 2012. The images were used in the packaging for the CD and vinyl album. The album has sold 106,000 copies as of September 10, 2013.

McColgan joined the U.S. Army in 1989 [1] and served in 4th Battalion 82nd Field Artillery, Charlie Battery in the first Gulf War before becoming a founding member of the Dropkick Murphys in 1996.
