The John Foley House is a historic residence located in New Hampton, Iowa, United States. John Foley (1841-1919) was a native of Ireland who came to Iowa in 1851 after having spent five years in Baltimore. He was engaged in farming until 1872 when he moved to New Hampton and became involved in politics, commerce, and banking.
Three bungalows feature a front gable with recessed full-width front porch (1918, 1921, 1923). Only one bungalow has a hipped roof (1908) and there is also one example of a "plain bungalow." The remaining bungalows feature a side gable. Of these, 14 have a single roof pitch with a full-width front porch.

The following year the 40-acre (16 ha) mill pond was drained. The local Izaak Walton League desired to create a 120-acre (49 ha) lake as early as 1926. They were able to buy options for 254 acres (103 ha) in 1933. The City of Hampton and several civic organizations bought the property the following year and presented it to the State of Iowa.
The Veneman's Bungalow Court Historic District, also known as Droukas Court, is located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It is the only example of a Post World War I “California bungalow court” in the city. The district has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2000.
