Oshi no Ko [a] (【推しの子】, "My Favorite Idol's Children" or "Their Idol's Children") [3] is a Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was serialized in Shueisha 's Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024, with its chapters collected in 16 tankōbon volumes.
The music is composed by Takurō Iga. [1] The first season, consisting of 11 episodes and adapting the first four volumes (chapters 1–40) of the manga series, aired from 12 April to 28 June 2023. [2] The 90-minute first episode also premiered in select Japanese theatres beginning on 17 March 2023. [3] [4]

Yurie Igoma (伊駒 ゆりえ, Igoma Yurie, born February 24, 1999) [1] is a Japanese voice actress who is affiliated with 81 Produce.She started her career in 2021, and in 2023 she played her first main role as Ruby Hoshino in the anime television series Oshi no Ko.
It was released by Mastersix Foundation on July 4, 2024, as the opening theme for the second season of Japanese anime series Oshi no Ko. Commercially, the song peaked at number three on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and number two on the Oricon Combined Singles Chart.
