Hannah Jane Battersby (née Perkins); c. 1836 – November 25, 1889) was an American "Fat Lady" sideshow performer and the wife of "Human Skeleton" John Battersby (1829 – 1897).
The Udderbelly is an upside-down giant purple cow tent owned by the event venue and management company Underbelly, originally sponsored by E4 as the "E4 udderBELLY". The Udderbelly can be used for a variety of different purposes as it can be adapted to contain a stage and all-seater 405 seat venue, or alternatively can be completely empty inside.
The royal patent and title was then transferred to the Queen's Theatre and Operetta House in a site in Broughton Street, on an earlier Circus (previously the Adelphi Theatre). The manager of the theatre was Robert Henry Wyndham. It burned down and was rebuilt in 1865, 1875, and 1884, each time retaining the patent.
