The Crystal Cathedral sale was finalized on February 3, 2012. The diocese then transferred the St. Callistus parish to the old Garden Grove church on the cathedral campus, renaming it Christ Cathedral Parish. During these years, Schuller's grandson took over the leadership of the remaining congregation and also resumed the broadcast of his grandfather's Hour of Power weekly TV broadcast.
Crystal Cathedral Ministries held its final service at its namesake on June 30, 2013, [7] after which it was renamed Shepherd's Grove and moved to the former St. Callistus Church on July 7, 2013.
