For titles of books, articles, poems, and so forth, use italics or quotation marks following the guidance for titles. Italics can also be added to mark up non-English terms (with the {{ lang }} template), for an organism's scientific name , and to indicate a words-as-words usage.
I think any roleplaying book should be italicized, but Dungeons & Dragons is more than just books. The long & the short of what I'm saying is, I guess, that Dungeons & Dragons isn't neccisarily the same as Dungeons & Dragons. I don't know of any citation guides for games, though. If the cover image is still under copyright, {{Non-free use rationale book cover}} and {{Non-free book cover}} should both be on the file description page. On the image line of the infobox template, insert the image's filename. A short description can be included in the field image caption. The default image size is 220 pixels.
The Chicago Manual of Style (8.179) advises to place poem titles in quotation marks except for "very long poems" that could be book length which should be italicized.
