There are about 19,000 seats at Osmania University, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar; Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda and Telangana University, Nizamabad. Osmania College, Kurnool (Telugu: ఉస్మానియా కాలేజీ, Urdu: عثمانیہ کالج) is a college in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India.It was established in 1947 by philanthropist Dr. M. Abdul Haq who approached the Nizam of Hyderabad - Mir Osman Ali Khan to raise funds for its establishment and the Nizam granted a capital of 0.2 million INR at that time.
