Jones Street is a street located in Greenwich Village in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. It runs between Bleecker Street and West 4th Street. Jones Street is sometimes confused with Great Jones Street in NoHo, located a little more than a half-mile to the east. What is now Jones Street predates 1789, and was named after Gardner Jones.
Daptone Records is a funk and soul independent record label based in Brooklyn, New York. Brenneck quickly became one of the essential members of the Daptone family, working closely with the label founder and producer Gabe Roth aka Bosco Mann, [6] and playing and touring with Sharon Jones, [7] the label matriarch.
The original membership of "The World's Most Dangerous Band" was assembled in early 1982 and consisted of Paul Shaffer (keyboards); Will Lee (bass); Hiram Bullock (guitar) and Steve Jordan (drums). Lee, Bullock and Jordan were all previously members of The 24th Street Band, a jazz/rock fusion ensemble that released three albums in the late 1970s.
