UTV is a Romanian free-to-air music television channel located in Bucharest owned by RCS & RDS S.A.. [1] It was launched in late 2005 under the slogan "All I want for Christmas is U". It belonged to UTI GROUP, but was later sold to RCS RDS.
The main operators are: Telekom TV, DIGI, Focus Sat operated by UPC Romania (the first DTH platform in Romania), FreeSat, and Orange operated by Orange Romania. Most of providers offer a small number of HD channels (10 channels), except Focus Sat (20 channels) and Orange , which is mainly dedicated to HD broadcasting with 50 channels.

The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company (Romanian: Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune), informally referred to as Radio Romania (Romanian: Radio România), is the public radio broadcaster in Romania. It operates FM and AM, and internet national and local radio channels.
The state broadcaster, TVR, operates a second national network, TVR 2, and a pan-European satellite channel. Pay TV channels have a smaller but significant audience. The public television company Televiziunea Română and the public radio Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune cover all the country and have also international programs.
