The Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), commonly referred to as an "ESC", is a United States Army logistics headquarters. Sustainment is "the provision of logistics, financial management, personnel services, and health service support necessary to maintain operations until successful mission completion."

The 518th Sustainment Brigade is a sustainment brigade of the United States Army Reserve headquartered in Knightdale, North Carolina. [2] The unit, having completed a tour of duty as the Sustainment Brigade for Resolute Support Mission, transferred authority to 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade on 17 September 2016. [3]
The 593d Expeditionary Sustainment Command (593d ESC) was originally the 1350th Engineer Base Depot Brigade, activated 1 August 1944, for service in World War II and constituted 7 August 1944. The brigade was inactivated on the islands of Leyte and Luzon in the Philippines on 20 May 1946.
