NGC 1277 is a lenticular galaxy in the constellation of Perseus.It is a member of the Perseus Cluster of galaxies and is located approximately 73 Mpc (megaparsecs) [2] or 220 million light-years from the Milky Way.
This number is wrong; originally announced in 1891, the figure was corrected in 1910 to 40 ly (60 mas). From 1891 to 1910, it had been thought this was the star with the smallest known parallax, hence the most distant star whose distance was known. Prior to 1891, Arcturus had previously been recorded of having a parallax of 127 mas.

2020 MK 53 is a trans-Neptunian object in the scattered disc, around 550 kilometres (340 miles) in diameter.It was discovered on 22 June 2020 by the New Horizons KBO Search-Subaru survey [5] [6] using the 8.2-meter Subaru Telescope of the Mauna Kea Observatories in Hawaii, and announced on 7 April 2023 (MPS 1836391, MPO 735634).
