This is a list of Saturn vehicles, or vehicles produced by the Saturn Corporation, a former subsidiary of General Motors. The list spans vehicles from 1990 to 2009, [ 1 ] with concept vehicles as early as 1984.
The new company, Maytag-Mason Motor Company moved production to Waterloo, Iowa at the suggestion of William O. Galloway. The two-cylinder cars were continued as Masons, and a new four-cylinder car was marketed as a Maytag. For 1911 both cars were named Maytag, but late in the same year, the Maytag family pulled out of the company. [2] [1]
Maytag formed the company by purchasing a controlling interest in the Mason Automobile Company of Des Moines, Iowa, in 1909.That company, which had been created by Fred Duesenberg, August Duesenberg, and lawyer Edward R. Mason, had been producing an automobile called the Mason.
The first Saturn dealership opened in Memphis, Tennessee. Saturn Corporation was launched as a "different kind of car company", and Saturn even had its own unique car models (although later models shared platforms with other GM vehicles to be more cost effective in the market), and their own dealership network that was separate from the rest of GM.

The Saturn S-series is a family of compact cars from the Saturn automobile company of General Motors. Saturn pioneered the brand-wide "no-haggle" sales technique. Its automobile platform, the Z-body, was developed entirely in-house at Saturn, and it shared very little with the rest of the General Motors model line.
The Saturn Outlook is a full-size crossover SUV that debuted at the New York International Auto Show, and was based on the GM Lambda platform, which it shared with the Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. The Outlook went on sale in 2006 as a 2007 model.
2005–2007 Saturn Ion coupe Clamshell doors. The 2003 Saturn Ion quad coupe production car first appeared at the 2002 New York International Auto Show. The 2003 Ion came standard with a 2.2 L 140 hp (104 kW) DOHC Ecotec I4 engine. The Ion sedan went on sale in mid-October 2002, and the quad coupe went on sale in early 2003. [5]
