The 2024 Nigeria Federation Cup is the 76th edition of the Nigerian Federation Cup. The tournament began with the National playoffs on 12 April and concluded with the final on 29 June. El-Kanemi Warriors won their third title and first in 32 years with a 2–0 win over Abia Warriors in the final.
The Federation Cup was an annual knockout football competition and the premier cup competition in men's domestic Indian football until 2017. [1] Established in 1977, it was organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The Federation Cup was eventually replaced by the Super Cup from the 2018 season.This Cup will revive from 2024-25 season.
In 2024, World Athletics announced that the new biennial competition, World Athletics Ultimate Championship, featuring only up to 16 of the world's top-ranked athletes per discipline, would be held every even year from 2026 onwards. [5]
