Hillside is a township in Union County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 22,456, [9] [10] an increase of 1,052 (+4.9%) from the 2010 census count of 21,404, [19] [20] which in turn reflected a decline of 343 (−1.6%) from the 21,747 counted in the 2000 census.

Hillside is an unincorporated community in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States. [1] The community is located along Pennsylvania Route 217 3.5 miles (5.6 km) northwest of Derry .
Hillside High School on Liberty Avenue was originally constructed in 1940, replacing the Coe Avenue (A.P. Morris) School which became a grammar school. Additions were later added to accommodate the baby-boomers of the 1950s and 1960s. In the mid-1960s the high school held some 1,500 students. [15]
On May 31, 1771, Hillsborough was officially granted a Charter incorporating it as a Township. [24] A revised charter was issued on September 12, 1771. [22] The records of Hillsborough Township are complete from their inception in 1746 and there are ten volumes, each some several hundred pages, kept in the Special Collections Department of the Rutgers University Library along with the Charter.

Hillside School District 93 is a school district headquartered in Hillside, Illinois in the Chicago metropolitan area. It operates one K-8 school, Hillside School. In addition to most of Hillside it also serves sections of Berkeley, Elmhurst, and Westchester. As of 1960 the school is next door to the Hillside village hall. [2]
