The Atlas Building, originally the Columbus Savings & Trust Building, is a high-rise building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio, built in 1905 and designed by Frank Packard.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
The precursor was the University Gallery of Fine Art which was curated by the university's fine art director. [2] In 1970, under Director Betty Collings' leadership, the gallery began hosting major contemporary artists and acquiring the collection that would become the Wexner Center as a response to student grievances about the Kent State shootings. [3]

16 East Broad Street is a building on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio.Completed in 1901, the building stands at a height of 168 feet (51 m), with 13 floors. [1] It stood as the tallest building in the city until being surpassed by 8 East Broad Street in 1906.
The building was designed by local architects Schooley Caldwell and DesignGroup, with MKSK designing its landscape architecture. [3] It was built with two distinct sections: its three-story portion is designed with tall windows surrounded by limestone pilasters, resembling the nearby Columbus City Hall , [ 5 ] and including a green roof. [ 3 ]
The building was completed in 2004. The School of Architecture offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and City and Regional Planning. [2] Knowlton Hall serves as the replacement for Ives Hall, the previous home of the school of architecture which was demolished in July 2002. [4]
