The city of Garland operates the city's water system and waste services. Electricity for about 85% of Garland is provided by the city's municipal utility, Garland Power and Light (GP&L). Greenwood is an unincorporated community in Midland County, Texas, United States. It is a small suburb of Midland and is part of the Midland Metropolitan Statistical Area.
