Rates vary for UTV purchases and depends heavily on your personal financial situation. UTV's are seen as luxury items now, don't forget insurance coverage too needed in most states. Best rates I've seen are for short term loans, longer loans they'll charge more due to risk of damage/failure.
When I was younger, I hated dealing with dealerships, especially when it came to financing. As I got older, I learned the game and how dealerships make money on arranging finances, trade-ins, gap insurance, extended warranties, etc. Now, I kind of enjoy f** with them.

This gives you time to shop around for loan options. Credit unions offers some pretty good interest rates on new machines. Polaris dealers are currently offering around 6.99% apr while your local credit union can get you an interest rate of about 3.5% for up to 72 months (based on good credit score of 760 or above and some have to be 800 above).
What a UTV Needs to be Street-Legal While the equipment needed to make a UTV street legal varies slightly from state to state, most states have similar regulations. Street-legal UTVs are universally required to have brake lights, turn signals, headlights, and hazard lights.
Hi everyone. I'm new here. Currently in the market for a RZR. My question is how can I get the best possible rate on financing part of my purchase? In other words, for a used $15k RZR, I want to only finance $10k. If I purchase private party, which is my intention, then would that be an unsecured personal loan?
I think she will like the RZR much better. I want to make sure I have enough money to cover some of the add ons before I pull the trigger. I am surprised at the number of people that pay cash for their RZR. I won’t finance any of my toys. I saved the financing for the 1300 sq ft shop that I am building. (I will need a place to keep the new RZR)
