His son James Anthony Williams was born in 1883 and worked at the Honolulu Advertiser in 1899. He married Minnie Lancaster on March 23, 1904. Christian Jacob Hedemann (25 May 1852 – 18 May 1932) was a Danish mechanical engineer who settled in Hawaii in 1878, where he worked at the Hana Sugar Plantation and the Honolulu Iron Works. He is, however, remembered primarily as an avid amateur photographer who helped found the Hawaiian Camera Club (1889–1893).
Tai Sing Loo (1886–1971) was a photographer of Pearl Harbor and many sporting events in Hawaii.. From 1909 to 1918, he worked with the Gurrey studio. [1] From 1919 until his retirement in 1949, [2] he served as an official Navy photographer.

In 1867, he came to the Kingdom of Hawaii from Cincinnati and established a photograph studio on Fort Street in Honolulu. [1] He took many portraits, and some photographs of sights and objects. James J. Williams (1853–1926) worked in his studio, buying it out in 1882. [ 2 ]
