Westchase is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. The population was 21,747 at the 2010 census , [ 5 ] up from 11,116 at the 2000 census. The census area encompasses most of the 33626 ZIP code area.
Westchase is adjacent to Greater Sharpstown, the International District (which includes part of Chinatown), and the Royal Oaks Country Club subdivision. The area is immediately northeast of Alief. A large portion of Westchase is covered by a special district, the Westchase Management District, which was created by the Texas Legislature in 1995. [2]
The area is also served by the Judson W. Robinson-Westchase Neighborhood Library of HPL at 3223 Wilcrest Drive, within the Alief ISD boundaries. [111] Residents of Alief within Harris County may obtain library cards for the Harris County Public Library (HCPL) system. [112] There are no HCPL branches in the Alief area. [113]
