The University of Burgos (in Spanish: Universidad de Burgos and often abbreviated UBU) is a public university in the Spanish city of Burgos with about 10,000 students studying over 30 different undergraduate degrees, over 20 PhD Programmes, as well as several Official Masters and other graduate courses.
UBU mainly operates on a two-semester program. For Academic Year 2020, semester 1 is from 22 June 2020 to 30 October 2020 and Semester 2 is from 9 November 2020 to 20 March 2021. There are few courses in the summer semester which is from 5 April 2021 to 22 May 2021. [1]
UBU, referred to in full as The University of Bradford Union of Students, is led by an executive of four full-time sabbatical officers, elected annually towards the end of the academic season, and (as of 2022/23) twelve non-sabbatical Executive Officers elected either at that same time or at the start of the academic year.
The original home of the students' union was the Victoria Rooms, which was given to the University in 1920. In 1934, a serious fire destroyed the main hall and electric organ of the building, though many of the other areas were saved from serious damage. [1] In 1965, the students' union moved to the Richmond Building on Queens' Road. [1]

Ubu Roi (French: [yby ʁwa]; "Ubu the King" or "King Ubu") is a play by French writer Alfred Jarry, then 23 years old. It was first performed in Paris in 1896, by Aurélien Lugné-Poe 's Théâtre de l'Œuvre at the Nouveau-Théâtre (today, the Théâtre de Paris).
