The Ice Skating Association of India (ISAI) is the national governing body for competitive ice skating disciplines, including figure skating, synchronized skating, speed skating, and short track speed skating in India. Much of India has a tropical climate, hence in the rest of the country, ice skating is limited to the few artificial rinks available. [1] An ice skating festival is organised in Shimla every year.
