It was commissioned in 1991 as part of the Russian Northern Fleet and was transferred to the Russian Pacific Fleet in September 1993. The submarine is currently based at the Rybachiy Nuclear Submarine Base, in Vilyuchinsk, near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Until 28 January 2011 it was called Vilyuchinsk, when the name was changed to Tver. [2]

K-535 Yuriy Dolgorukiy (Russian: АПЛ Юрий Долгорукий) is a Borei-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine of the Russian Navy, and the lead vessel of the class. Named after the founder of Moscow, Yuri Dolgorukiy , the vessel was laid down on 2 November 1996 and was first planned to enter service in 2001.
The Submarine Force is a component and virtual combat arms of the Vietnam People's Navy which deals with submarine warfare. The force is made up of 6 Russian made Kilo-class submarines . Currently, the force consists of the 196th Submarine-Commando Bridage and the 189th Submarine Brigade.
The submarine was laid down on July 24, 1992 at the Severodvinsk Shipyard as pennant number 664 of the Oscar II class cruise missile submarines. In April 1993, submarine 664 received the name Belgorod after the Russian city with that name and the tactical designation K-139.
